This 2-bedroom, 1-bath duplex is casually elegant, a place to rest your head and be inspired. Just blocks from the vibrant hub of Plaza Midwood, this space doubles as my personal residence and working atelier, where I create custom jewelry and fine art. It's curated like a living gallery, decorated in casual elegance and relaxed glamour. The art on the walls doesn’t just hang—it might flirt with you, maybe even steal your heart. If it does, you’re welcome to purchase a piece to take home. The space I love color and creativity, and my home is often my canvas to play. The environment inside is clean, tasteful with several pop of classy color and textures. Outside, you can rock on the porch under trees to enjoy the quaint quietness, or take a walk in the cozy, historic neighborhood to grab dinner, ice cream, a glass of wine, or yoga class. My home is 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, an open living/dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and small fenced in back yard. There is also plenty of shared front and side yard space. Well behaved dogs are welcome with an additional pet deposit and approval prior to arrival. Please Note: The reviews regarding other housemates and noise are from when I lived in Boulder in 2012 next to the CU campus with 11 housemates), quite a different vibe. My place in Charlotte is peaceful and only myself and a possible foster dog. Guest access During your stay, you'll have access to the private bedroom. I will be residing in the studio room, and we’ll share the bathroom, kitchen, and living room. There’s also a small private yard area where you can sip your morning coffee or relax in the evening. At times when I travel, the entire home is available for rent and can accommodate up to three guests. Please check my additional listing if you’re interested in booking the full space. During your stay I am here to help make your stay comfortable. I work out of the house and sometimes from home. I love giving tips on where to go and things to find what you need/want. Come and go as you please, and don't feel like you have to entertain me, and I don't want to get in the way of your plans. Other things to note I occasionally foster dogs, so you might share the space with a mellow, well-mannered canine who adds a warm and loving presence to the home. If you'd like to bring your own dog, I consider each request individually. Please include your dog’s age, breed, and temperament in your booking message. While I adore dogs, the home is best suited for calm and respectful fur ladies or gentlemen. If your dog is also a guest, he must be crated when left unattended. You may notice small remnants of the process—paint drops on the floor, a smudge on a table, fingerprints of imagination past. It’s part of the charm and soul of the space, where inspiration has room to breathe. This is a 100% non-smoking property, both inside and outside. While I respect everyone's personal choices, if you are a smoker, everyone will be more comfortable with you finding a more suitable abode. Lastly, I genuinely want you to have a fabulous, memorable stay in Charlotte and enjoy the uniqueness of my home, the neighborhood and city. That said, no parties or events are permitted.
