'Lodge by the Lake' is a idyllic large 2 bedroom south facing waterside retreat with stunning lake views and direct access from your private jetty to enjoy wild water swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, etc The lodge is ideally placed for visiting the Lake District, Capernwray Diving Centre (the lodge is not dog friendly but the owners do bring their own) Min 3 nights during school holidays and bank holiday weekends 2 nights minimum all other times We provide a Welcome pack The space 'Lodge by the Lake' is elegant, light, contemporary and open plan with direct access via patio doors onto a beautiful large glass fronted south facing balcony with a comfortable corner sofa/dining table and parasols. Our beautiful velvet indoor corner sofa is ideal for upto 4 guests comfortably along with two more occasional chairs. A 55 inch smart TV with Free WiFi is provided for your use (not guaranteed) Our lodge is situated in a quiet area of the park ideal for a lovely relaxing holiday, the lodge has stunning views over the lake with direct access to the lake via your own private jetty, ideal for wild swimming, why not bring a paddle board and a fishing rod an ideal and comfortable holiday for couples and families (sorry no groups, parties). A modern fully equipped kitchen including full range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. We have iron and ironing board. Both large bedrooms sleeping maximum of 4 people (no over occupancy) have comfortable full size beds, wardrobes and chest of draws, the double having a full ensuite. All bedding and towels are provided. Please bring your own pool towels if you wish to use the on-site pool or swim in the lake. There is an entrance hall for coats and shoes. We provide a welcome pack that includes (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and Haribo sweets, we also leave out a kitchen pack which has 3 dishwasher tablets, j cloth, sponge, bin bag, we leave 2 toilet rolls per bathroom, kitchen roll, fairy liquid and hand soaps Please note we offer 2 night minimum stay except all school holidays, bank holiday weekend etc which is 3 night minimum Please note we do not allow the charging of electric cars at the lodge, there are several charging stations near by including a fast charger at Booths supermarket 5 minutes away Onsite there is a bar and restaurant,(pre booking recommended) swimming pool and gym (additional cost), a very popular beauty salon (pre booking recommended) We have Aldi, Tesco and Booth's supermarkets all within 5 minutes drive away, you will also find plenty of take aways, pubs and restaurants all situated on the main street. There is a large complex 5 minutes away, Greenlands Farm Village providing indoor childrens play area, childrens petting farm, cafe, farm shops, fishing supplies and much more Please feel free to bring your own paddleboard/kayak - please note we have our own kayak at the lodge but due to insurance sorry this is not available for guest use Guest access There is space for two cars directly outside the lodge, the neighbourhood has lots of beautiful walks, places to eat and towns within a short drive the outstanding Lake District is only 30 minutes away, beautiful Morecambe Bay is within 15 minutes drive with the iconic Midland Hotel, the historic market town of Kirby Lonsdale is 20 minutes away with lots of shops and eateries, river walks and the famous Ruskin's View Other things to note We have a minimum of 3 nights during school holidays and bank holidays - 2 nights minimum all other times, we do offer a late afternoon check out on request at an additional charge, this can be requested 3 days prior to arrival
