Fulham Homestead is a piece of living history dating back to 1840's. This historical state treasure is unique with its Guesthouse tastefully restored into a comfortable modern home that is full of charm and history. With it's 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, laundry, dining space and Wifi, suitable for 8 people. The property boasts farm animals and a beautiful rambling garden that leads to the Glenelg river. And now with a newly installed split Heat/Cooling system. The space Fulham Homestead (originally Fulham Station) was one of the first properties in the area, orginally boasting 67000 acres of farming land. Over time the property has being reduced in size to only surround the historical buildings. All of which are rich in history and charm, built with iron stone 2 feet thick and quarried on the property. Back in its Hay Day, the Homestead used the Guesthouse for their guests. (If only the walls could talk) . We are know returning the home back to its orginal purpose. Tastefully restored to a warm and comfortable home that embrasses and honours its heritage. The GuestHouse accommodates 8 people comfortably. With its 2 queen beds and 4 single beds - 3 bedrooms in total with one bedroom with an onsuite. Functional laundry, fully working kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, dinning space and sunroom overlooking the magestic Moreton Bay fig tree. (One of the biggest in the state) The Guest house is surrounded by open space and a beautiful garden that leads to the Glenelg River. Guest access There is 1 allocated park at the front entrance. Other cars to be parked outside the front entrace fence. Other things to note This is a working farm so there are animals and noises. The GuestHouse is located 15m from the main Fulham Homestead where we live today.
