Two bedroom second floor apartment! Chalkboard wall, two tv’s with Netflix & Hulu access, high speed internet! Owner occupied building. Street next to downtown, hiking trails, and snowmobile trails! Will need to climb stairs to enter apartment. We are an old homestead, one of the first homes to be built here. We try very hard to make it homey, and are continually putting work into it. The chalkboard room has only a single daybed. The master bedroom is small but does have a new queen bed, as many guests requested. Downfall, only one side of the bed will have a small lamp. The overhead, ceiling light, is adjustable with soft LED bulbs. Kitchen is fully stocked. The bathroom is narrow and only a small stand shower was able to be fitted. Extra towels supplied, also toiletries. This is a small apartment. This is a in town apartment, is small, is upstairs to which Sharon lives downstairs. It can be quite a barrier for physical assistance needs and not recommended for animals nor children under 7 for safety reasons. We are always available 24/7 for any and all your needs. All hiking, cross country skiing, and snowmobile trails. Only 20 minute drive to Mount Katahdin, Baxter State Park. Just seconds from restaurants and other local entertainment. Parking is on left of driveway along the stairwell. There is room for 2 vehicles, or truck with snowmobile trailer. Parking is free. This is an upstairs apartment. The fully built stairwell to the apartment is outside with a roof but not enclosed. Apartment is not handicapped accessible. See picture enclosed with other pictures of apartment. Also, we do live in a small town with old homesteads and ours is one of them. We continue to work diligently to upgrade and make it nicer. We apologize for construction that may be in place upon your arrival. ****NOTE: We do NOT charge extra for cleaning BUT will add the charge if the apartment is not left as seen. We expect you to respect the property and treat it as your own. Please clean up after yourselves. No shoes in living room or bedrooms, we are having issues with dried mud on furniture. We WILL add a 75$ fee to your stay if we become your maid**** Also, all guests, including under 18, are charged the extra $10 per, due to no cleaning fee, thank you for understanding. Children under 16 can not be left unattended. Hi my name is Sharon, I am Alec’s mother and I live in the downstairs apartment. I look forward to hosting you. I provide fresh ground coffee with sugar and creamers, variety of tea’s, snacks and daily fresh, free range eggs, when available. All bathroom amenities, including extra towels. If there is anything I may be able to provide to allow you to feel more at home during your stay, please do not hesitate to let me know. It is taking a little longer to clean, as I take extra precautions in making sure everything is clean and sterilized. If it appears to be later than 3pm, I will immediately reach out to you. For your convenience I offer to meet and greet or if you are more comfortable in just letting yourself in, let me know and other arrangements can be made.
