Peaceful bush retreat

Your retreat is a bright spacious open-plan self-contained studio on our 640 acre bush property - ideal for couples or a single. It is 600m from our home - maintaining guests privacy. The studio is an ideal spot to escape from the every day routine and relax, walk, read or stare at the fire. Brilliant night skies. Guests are welcome to walk the many tracks sighting kangaroos, wallabies and abundant bird life. The space The studio is open plan and has a double bed alcove, lounge space with aircon, wood fire, full kitchen facilities, large deck with BBQ, and separate bathroom with shower and modern composting toilet. Tea, coffee and continental breakfast supplied. Sorry no mobile service or Internet. The studio is for the exclusive use of the guests. Our own home is some 600 m away. A workshop is adjacent to the studio and may sometimes be needed to accessed by us - however we are mindful of your privacy and endeavour to be discreet in using this while guests are with us. Guest access Guests are welcome to wander the many tracks throughout the property. - see us for some ideas. We also run a small pottery on site and items are on display in the studio. We have gardens and our own power systems which we are happy to chat about with interested guests. Other things to note Access is from the north - please read the Directions section of Airbnb carefully as Google maps may try to direct you to us from the south - these Google directions are highly misleading and are to be avoided, especially if you don't have a 4wd. Also please check with us on road conditions if there has been considerable rain expected before or during your visit. We do not have mobile reception in the general area but sometimes you may receive marginal coverage around the hills.
