Refuge by the pond

An intimate and authentic retreat for a wellness and rejuvenating stay, in a setting perfect for rest, escape, and dreaming. You will be accommodated in a separate 45m² cottage, formerly a wood store for the lime kilns, which can still be visited on site. You can stroll through the 5-hectare park with a pond, a river, fields, and woods for your enjoyment and that of your pet. 3-star rating (Eure-et-Loir Tourism) The space On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, a living room with a double sofa bed, and a bathroom. Upstairs: a mezzanine with a double bed and a unique view of the old Boussard blast furnaces (1690). Private garden in front of the cottage. Tastefully decorated and with a warm atmosphere. Other things to note I personally welcome you (most often) or access key in a secure box and offer for those who wish, a guided tour of the premises and their history. For those who prefer to explore independently, audio guides are available, with the history of the site narrated by those who worked there until 1956. Loan of two adult bicycles. Sports fishing possible in the pond: equipment not provided, fish to be released after catch.
