Dorothy’s Room near Hillsdale College

Dorothy's Room is next to Marlene's Room and shares the Jack and Jill bathroom. When Marlene's Room is not rented then it has a private bath. It is a lovely room and in the morning the smells of Linda's kitchen invite you down to start with coffee or tea. We have a 2 night minimum stay for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. The space The Broad Street Manor is a historic home built in 1868 for the owner and officials of the Stocks Milling Company. The grounds with the many gardens are spectacular and offer many quiet spots to reflect and just take in all the beautiful flowers. The manor is beautifully appointed with things to see everywhere in the home. You will have use of the main living room, the sun room and media room. Breakfast is each morning starting at approximately 8-8:30 am. Coffee and tea are available starting around 7 am. In the summer months we serve breakfast on the deck off the kitchen and breakfast room. It is a lovely area filled with flowers and looks out to the rear gardens. We have a strong WiFi signal so having a good connection is not a problem. We have a 2 night minimum stay on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Guest access Sun Room, Living Room and Media Room During your stay The hosts (Brian and Linda) are on site and live in the residence. They are there to greet guests as they arrive. Brian and Linda are creators and makers of cool things! The carriage house is where they do their work in glass, metal and wood. Other things to note Each guest is given a key to the front door.
