Single Gem in the Old Town
Description
Our aim is to help the curious, the culture vulture, the bird watchers , the picnic and nature lovers to optimize their holiday in this area of Andalucia. The scenery in the mountains is breathtaking, the famous black pigs lie prostrate across your path, flowers abound (always of course depending on the season). You can't find better beaches anywhere round Europe… kms of fine, golden sand, dramatic rock formations, excellent swimming, long morning walks and watching the sun go down. The space A charming self-catering bed-sit (single bed / 90x200) studio with a separate shower room and air conditioning. Light, cozy and tranquil in the old historical town, only a 5 minute walk away from the magical beaches. A kitchenette equipped with the basic needs, a toaster, minigrill, electric kettle, nespresso coffee machine and wifi . The studio is on the ground floor opening onto the patio with access to the roof terrace through a side-street door. Kite/windsurfing meca, offering more outdoor activities within easy reach. Guest access Though it is the most southern town in Europe, it is incredibly central. Gibraltar is 40 minutes away and is understandably a ‘must’ for many British guests who feel they can’t be so near without visiting it – but be aware that border controls can take a long time, and take our advice to park in Spain and walk across the border where you take a taxi or a bus. Seville and Malaga are a little less than two hours' drive away. The most popular airlines fly into both airports. Public transport may be a puzzle but there are frequent connections from both Seville and Malaga to Tarifa. You may just need to catch a taxi for the last stretch of the journey. If you happen to hire a car please take account of the fact that in High Season (July and August) there is a lot of traffic, parking both in town (evenings) and at the beach is very scarce, places are crowded.
