With Belgium’s foremost cathedral, a superb central square and a scattering of intriguing museums, shops, the intercity waters, cozy restaurants, and bars, Mechelen is one of Flanders’ most underrated historic cities. Our house is a 5-minute bike ride and a 10-minute stroll from the city center but is nicely placed near the water where you have perfect access to the beautiful nature that surrounds Mechelen and which is ideal for hiking and bike tours. (No parties allowed) The space You have everything you need and it is fair to say it has become a very cozy, light and special house. The garden is nice and cozy and the master bedroom is airy and dark. There are two toddler beds (two separate rooms). We'll make sure there's an extra inflatable mattress if you're visiting with 4 people. It is the perfect spot to relax, to spend time with your friends or family with kids (no parties), to do some hiking or make a bike tour and visit a restaurant or bar nearby. We'll lay out some nice spots for you once you arrive! Guest access We'll make sure check-in is as smooth as possible. There's a lock box available. Other things to note On your request, we will be happy to make sure there are two bikes available at your arrival. Please make sure you ask this in time. The 10-minute walk however to the city center is pleasant and not far.
