Karimi's Cozy Cabin is nestled on beautiful Lake Vermilion in NE MN. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the deck only 15 feet from the shore, or sit on the dock and fish for your breakfast. A Peaceful and tranquil cabin for a summer retreat. Lake Vermilion is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in MN with 365 islands and 1200 miles of shoreline. Excellent place for walleye and musky fishing. The cozy cabin has everything you need to be comfortable for your summer getaway. One queen size bed plus a futon and single bed in the living room. All the kitchen utensils and bathroom amenities you need. Please note tap water comes from the lake and is used for dishes and showers. We will provide fresh spring water for drinking. Available for all guests are: private dock, sandy beach, paddle boat, two kayaks, canoe, and charcoal grill. There are cards, jigsaw puzzles and board games available for all guests. There is a coffee pot and filters and a toaster. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for preparing meals. We live in the bigger cabin next door and will be available if needed, but respect your privacy. If you enjoy relaxing in a quiet setting, with the sounds of the loons and the waves singing you to sleep, then this is the place for you. Escape from technology, work and chaos for a few days and just RELAX. There is no wireless connection or TV at the Cozy Cabin. Our cozy cabin is located on a peninsula that was likely an island before the glaciers came through thousands of years ago. There are ten cabins/homes on this little piece of paradise. The village of Cook is 8 miles from the cabin. There you will find Zups grocery store, public library, post office, several gift shops, The Comet theater and gift shop, Subway, MacDonalds, hospital, drugstore, Montana restaurant and ACE hardware. Virginia is 30 miles South with a nice shopping mall, grocery stores, Menards, Target and theater. Many fun adventures within an hours drive: 1. Vince Schutte Bear Sanctuary, 2. Ely Bear Museum, 3.
