Stocked kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, olive oil, vinegar, spices, tea coffee. Located on the property of one of the villages' oldest historic homes, nestled at the foothills of the Cerrillos hills state park overlooking the village. Once the Capital of New Mexico, now an amazing time capsule of Western History, walking distance to dining and shopping, activities and massage. 360 degree views of mountains and the Galisteo River Basin. This 1884 adobe Casita is quiet with natural lighting perfect for working or relaxing. Organic high thread count linens and towels, natural cleaners and sustainable practices. We do Not implement ANY pesticides, if you are intimated by the songs of crickets, this may not be the space for you. Eclectic decorations including antiques from the original homestead and beautiful art. Located 16 miles outside of Santa Fe and 3 miles to Madrid. Perfectly situated between Albuquerque and Santa Fe on the Turquoise Trail, wonderful for skiers, mountain biking, hiking, horse back riders( outfitter walking distance) and tourists alike. Solitude for the quiet types. We offer Wifi, but don't expect cell service unless you are on wifi calling- there is no TV just the view and the stars- you wanted a vacation! Enjoy the milky way from the hot tub while the coyotes and big horn owls serenade the night sky. We are not responsible for hot tub not working due to cleaning or appliance issues during your stay, no discounts will be given. This adobe, rock building does not have AC, stay cool by opening the windows at 9 pm and closing them at 9 am, it will maintain a lovely temp on its own. We welcome 1 dog - under 30 pounds only per stay upon approval, $30 per reservation. Pets cannot be left unattended and are not allowed on the bed or couch - we suggest you travel with a clean blanket for covering our furniture as an alternative. A $200 fee will be charged for all dogs left behind barking, or excessive hair on the bed and couch. Your dog needs to be leashed outside on the property at all times out of respect for other guests, and your hosts. You must curb your dog. If you want to run them walk out our driveway in any direction. You can contact Rover for pet sitting services while touring the sites. Most local restaurants are dog friendly. In room Host Bar can offer ( based on availability) a selection of local jerky, chocolate, snacks and our Mad Hatter Coffee & Tea CBD Beverages for purchase. Smoking is permitted anywhere outside, not near another window. Please extinguish butts in water and throw away. Please be water conscious, all our grey lines feed the trees, and wildlife - we only use earth friendly product and appreciate your doing the same. Guest access This is a detached Casita with a private porch with dining table, rocker and summer foraging garden. There is a second unit behind that we built with an additional hospitality wall on top of the original adobe wall to block noise and vibration between the spaces, they do not face each other or impede the tranquility of either unit. Parking for 1 car in front to the casita in the parking area to the right of the drive. Please message for additional parking instructions. Access to BBQ. Relax in any of the patios, hot tub. Please note we cannot be held liable for inconsistencies in hot tub use due to power outages or guest's improper use of hot tub. Other things to note The main house and casita were built in 1884, although they have been remodeled, we ask that paper products are disposed of in the trash can versus the 1/2 gallon flush toilet, there is signage as a reminder we do not line the trash bin with plastic, but we sanitize the bin between every guest to help save the environment. Thanks for choosing a sustainable lodging. We do not charge a cleaning fee, to avoid a 50$ fee, all guests are required to wash their dishes and tidy up before check out. We strive to create a restful retreat for our guests full of love and creativity, enjoy! Your Pet must be approved prior to booking, $30/stay. Pets cannot be left alone.
