Bicycles and horse-drawn carriages are the common means of transport. The village of Neuendorf still exudes the original character of the old fishing village: there is no village square, but there are beaten paths and wonderful, wide sandy beaches. Island of intellectuals: Since numerous writers, painters and artists spent their summer holidays with us during the Weimar Republic, the island enjoyed century, the island enjoyed the reputation of an artists' colony.
