Wee Coorie Apartment – a Victorian maisonette in the conservation area of Pitlochry. This cosy first-floor self-contained apartment is located in central Pitlochry - ideally situated and within walking distance to local shops, restaurants and all public transport services. This compact apartment contains two bedrooms and is ideally suited for couples, duo and solo adventurers (Not suitable for infants and children under 18 (Matter of license restrictions my home is an Adults only space). The space This delightful apartment contains the following: - Free WiFi throughout - Timeless decorated living area with Smart TV and Freesat ideal for relaxing after a busy day out exploring the town and surrounding areas. - Modern fully equipped kitchen area complete with a breakfast bar - Double bedroom with a comfy double bed, walk-in wardrobe, dressing table & chair, bedside drawers and lamps. The skylight window fills the room with glorious daylight, complete with an attached blackout blind for guests who prefer to sleep late. Freshly laundered bed linen and a hairdryer (with diffuser attachment) are provided. - Single bedroom with a comfy single bed, mirrored wardrobe, bedside cabinet and lamp. Freshly laundered bed linen is provided. - Shower room has a modern walk-in shower unit, toilet, wash basin with a Velux window above to allow plenty of natural daylight. Guest access All the following transport services are approximately within 5 minutes walking distance from Wee Coorie Apartment: - Train station with regular connecting service to all major Scottish cities. There is also a daily express service to and from London’s Kings Cross along with the Caledonian sleeper to and from London Euston station, both of which stop at Pitlochry train station. - Regular Bus services provided by City Link, Stage Coach and Elizabeth Yules. The main bus stop is located on Atholl Road. - Local Taxi services: Elizabeth Yules office located near the train station. Other things to note Our central location is ideal for the Enchanted Forest departure point, Etape cycling route and Pitlochry Festival Theatre. The apartment is also in a convenient location for keen walkers to take a breathtaking hike up Ben Vrackie. Nature lovers can stroll through the Black Spout Woods or take a scenic route around the Pitlochry Dam & Visitors Centre. Uisge Beath is the Scottish Gaelic term for distilled alcohol or “water of life”. There are two distilleries in town. Blair Athol Distillery was founded in 1798, making it one of Scotland’s oldest distilleries, offers a visitors centre and a tasting guided tour. Edradour situated in an idyllic location was the smallest distillery in Scotland also offers a visitors centre and tasting guided tour. Not fond of a wee dram the beer lovers can visit Moulin brewery and Wasted Degrees where they can sample some fine local ales.
