Walk to shops, eateries and music venues. Downtown located 19 blocks away. Rental unit is accessed through front door of home and located on second floor. The furnished space includes a combined sitting room with desk, kitchenette and wardrobe, a master bath with jacuzzi and shower, and a small bedroom with double bed. The space My husband and I have lived in our 1920's historic bungalow for almost 25 years. It backs up to city park with a 9 mile greenway along the river, is located 19 blocks from downtown (bus stop 3 doors away), within walking distance of hip East Nashville neighborhood eateries/clubs/shops and 1 block to golf course and tennis courts. Rental unit is accessed through front door of home and is located on second floor. The furnished space includes a combined sitting room with desk, kitchenette and wardrobe, a master bath with jacuzzi and shower, and a small bedroom with a double bed featuring a new mattress within the last year (only one person rented the unit for 7 months in 2022). A second rental unit on the same floor is home to a retired female friend. We live on the first floor where we also have a guest room that periodically hosts visiting relatives and friends. One cat and one small dog live with us but they are not allowed in guest rooms. Guest access Washer and dryer are available on the downstairs back porch. The front porch, including swing and hammock, are available for guest use. During your stay As much or as little as you want- just let us know your preference. Other things to note We believe in radical hospitality which is why we began hosting Airbnb guests in 2008- the first Airbnb in Nashville!- and have continued to enjoy guests from across the US and world. Collier is a retired public defender Michele has worked for and managed a number of non-profit organizations including local and statewide affordable housing, economic development, hunger alleviation, reproductive justice, legal services, mediation and mental health. We are now both officially retired. Artists, activists, adventurers and scientists (professionals and dabblers) are particularly welcome in our home.
