Riversound-Ísland Pure/Golden Circle

As a nature lover you will love this place. Surrounded by 15,000 sqm of wildly overgrown own land, "Riversound" is absolutely quiet and only 40 metres away from the "blue river" Brúará and within walking distance to 3 waterfalls. Our cosy house is flooded with light, offers wonderful views and the gentle sound of the river. Pure Iceland! All highlights of the Golden Circle, restaurants, farms, hot springs, hiking trails, .. are nearby. Good tips are in the house folder. Velkominn, Mehrjar Nader The space Riversound was built in 2004 in a completely wooden construction. It offers lots of space and freedom for 4 persons on 90 sqm. The loft with king-size bed is at standing height and accessible via a safe staircase, the other cosy bedrooms are on the ground floor. As an architect's house, everything is very solid and elaborately constructed in detail. All materials and fittings, including high-quality mattresses, have been designed with quality and authenticity in mind. We take care of this cosy house so that it will remain with our family and you as guests for a long time to come. Guest access Riversound is located on the edge of the summer house settlement REYKJASKOGUR. This is also found by "Maps". After you have passed a barrier (code when booking/opens automatically on exit) you leave the road about 1.4 km behind you and come to the house. We have prepared a pictorial description of how to get there. You park in your private parking space. At the entrance is the key box (code when booking). The door lock opens with a left turn. A farmer from the neighbourhood takes care of free access roads even in winter. Have a good trip! Other things to note Shopping: In Laugarvatn (approx. 15 min by car) you can do your shopping in a small supermarket. However, we recommend that you do your larger shopping in a "Bonus" or "Kronan" on the way to Riversound. For example in Selfoss or Greater Reykjavik. Refuelling: In Laugarvatn, 15 min.
