There's a fire pit and charcoal grill when the urge strikes to cook outside, or just to stay warm by a fire under the stars. No neighbors = no lights = great stargazing. Great for kids with lots of space, toys, and a ping pong table in the game room. Older stereo (teach your kids what cassette tapes are!) and new 48" tv plus dvd player. The antique tv and radio in the living room don't work, but can contribute to the history lesson too. Great bike or ATV rides, nature walks, and trail runs right out the front door (amazing 17 mile road bike loop under the Cockscomb or ~12 mile running loop on the old dump road), and of course Capitol Reef National Park and many many other natural wonders are within easy reach with a short drive. The bike loop was the last 2 laps of Tour of Utah stage in 2016. Torrey has both seasonal and year-round restaurants within 2 miles.
