You will find the South River just steps from the cottage, Plenty of hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing trails on the 70+ private acres that surround the cottage. Easy access to fishing, bird watching, star gazing etc. With a new hot tub installed June 2022, relaxation is inevitable. The cottage is set up to be just like a home and includes anything you may need during your stay. There is even a sauna for you to enjoy. In the warmers months there is an aluminum boat, a 4 person peddle boat and a 4 person canoe available to use as well as a new dock to put your own watercraft in the river and keep at the cottage. There is a public boat launch just 3 minutes away. This cottage can be used for celebrations such as showers, and reunions with plenty of parking and outdoor space available for all. Guest access The town of Powassan is just a 10 min drive from the cottage. In town you can find the necessities such as a Value-Mart grocery store, Home Hardware, Drug store, Market, LCBO & Beer Store as well as so much more. There is plenty of parking at the cottage for 4 or more vehicles, room to turn around trailers etc. Powassan also has a beautiful golf course just a few minutes away.
