Comfortable haystack apartment B&B de Elzenhoeve

Experience the unique atmosphere and unwind in this charmingly renovated haystack of a traditional dairy farm. Here you will enjoy the vastness and space around you and the beautiful views over the meadows and the river landscape of the IJssel. The ideal place for peace seekers and to walk, cycle and visit beautiful places. It is 3 km to Kampen, 10 km to Zwolle, 17 km to Elburg and 34 km to Giethoorn. Welcome to B&B De Elzenhoeve! The space This agricultural monument has been converted into a luxury apartment of 40 m2 that is equipped with all comforts. We look forward to welcoming you to come and enjoy here! This characteristic farm was built in 1929 by our grandfather. Until 1996, it was a dairy farm with 30 cows and 60 sheep. The black and white photos on the wall take you back to earlier times, when the haystack was fully in operation, the draft horses did the work and milking was still done by hand. The beautiful timber construction of Douglas wood, the rural elements and cozy decor create a nostalgic atmosphere that makes you feel at home right away in an oasis of peace! In the living room, there are 2 seating areas: 2 comfortable swivel chairs from where you can look out beautifully over the meadows. On the sofa, you can relax with a book or watch television after a day of being active. In the wooden kitchen, you can make your own coffee and tea. Food can be stored in the mini fridge and/or heated in the microwave/oven. There is a 4-burner induction hob with extractor hood. The separate bedroom has 2 luxurious single box springs and a wardrobe. Guest access The car can be parked right next to the haystack. You have to go up 2 steps to get to the porch. Bicycles are available for free. Supermarkets are 2.5 km (Nettorama IJsselmuiden) and 3.8 km away (Albert Heijn XL Kampen). There is all kinds of tourist information available about the Hanzesteden Kampen, Zwolle, Elburg, Deventer etc. for a nice day out. The Stedelijk Museum Kampen and Museum "Stadsboerderij" are highly recommended! Other things to note Breakfast is not included but can be ordered for €15.00 per person. Please pay the breakfast costs in cash upon your arrival. There is all kinds of tourist information available about the Hanzesteden Kampen, Zwolle, Deventer etc. for a nice day out.
