In the The space In the spacious kitchen with a wine refrigerator, you can prepare the most wonderful meals as a group, or have them prepared. There is a fenced garden and a fantastic covered outdoor terrace from which you have a unique view of the river. The ground floor of the cottage is accessible without steps. With large letters on the concrete wall, you will be welcomed - renkenmühle. To the entrance side, the house is closed, but opens to the garden on the river side with large window fronts. The renkenmühle is a nature-loving retreat for the large family, friends, seminars or groups who value the luxury of a hotel, but prefer a more personal and intimate atmosphere. In the center is a large, accessible space divided into different zones: a living area by the fireplace, a living area by the panoramic window, the cooking and dining area with two long tables for up to 16 people. Nature-loving retreat Starting with the construction on the old walls of the former mill, in the selection of building materials and the commissioned craftsmen, attention was paid to regionality and sustainability. The renkenmühle continues the tradition of hydropower with a Francis shaft turbine. The generated electricity supplies the cottage and the remaining electricity is supplied to the public electricity grid. The house is heated by an air heat pump that supplies the underfloor heating. Due to the decentralized ventilation system, you will be permanently supplied with fresh air in the interior of the house. Accessible ground floor The ground floor of the renkenmühle is accessible without steps. It has a bedroom with a senior bed, an accessible closet and a spacious accessible shower room with grab bars. The sink can be pulled under. All doors have a width of 95 cm here. The front door and terrace door are infinitely passable. The entrance stairs can be crossed by means of an electric elevator.
