Refurbished duplex located in the heart of Souillac, opposite the Sainte Marie Abbey. Ideal for 2 to 4 people, it offers a duplex bedroom, sofa bed, equipped kitchen and shower room. The charm of exposed beams and stones is combined with modern comforts. Self check-in, linen provided, free parking in front. Close to shops, the local market, and major sites such as Rocamadour, Sarlat or the Padirac chasm. The space On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen (oven, induction stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee maker, kettle, toaster). We also provide salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and a few coffee pods. A living room with table and chairs for 4 people, a sofa bed, a coffee table and a TV. We also provide a fan for hot weather. Upstairs, the duplex bedroom is open to the rest of the apartment. The stairs do not have a gate, so they can be dangerous for young children. Please note that for people with reduced mobility, the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom are a bit steep. Bedding is also provided. A folding crib is available for the smallest guests, but we do not provide linens for the crib. A bathroom with shower, towels, mat and hairdryer. The apartment was renovated in 2021, retaining the charm of the exposed beams and stonework. The atmosphere is warm and refined, combining modern comfort and authenticity. The accommodation is located close to shops, restaurants and the Friday morning market. The train station is a 20-minute walk away. Free parking is right in front of the building. Entry is self check-in using a lockbox. You will receive the code on the morning of your arrival. Please note that the accommodation is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. Other things to note Nearby, several iconic sites are worth a visit: - Rocamadour (25 min) Spectacular medieval village clinging to the cliff, ranked among the most beautiful in France. Its sanctuary, breathtaking views and cobbled streets attract visitors from around the world every year. - The Gouffre de Padirac (30 min) One of the natural wonders of the region. An impressive descent 103 meters underground, followed by a boat ride on an underground river. Remember to book before you check in. - Sarlat-la-Canéda (30 min away) Medieval city of character, famous for its preserved architecture, lively markets and Périgord gastronomy. Perfect for strolling through the alleys and tasting foie gras or truffles. - Martel (15 min away) Small picturesque town with seven towers, with a charming historic center and its tourist steam train that runs along the Dordogne Valley. - La Roque-Gageac, Domme, Beynac-et-Cazenac All ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, these places are nestled in the Dordogne Valley, between cliffs, castles and river. Perfect for a day of exploration. - Other places to discover: Collonges la Rouge, Turenne, Autoire, Loubressac, Carennac, Saint-cirq-Lapopie...
