Description
Located next to the owners house, take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our settlers cottage built in 1897 is completely self contained and private with everything you need. Located near Hastings caves, Southport and cockle creek enjoy the wilderness and beautiful beaches all within minutes. Cook for yourself or visit Southport tavern just 2 mins down the road. The cottage is located on a working farm but you will have complete privacy and heaps of room to park. The space The cottage is quite spacious with one separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. The lounge and Kitchen are open plan. We have a outdoor area and your welcome to walk in the fields and enjoy an open camp fire under the stars. The interior design is eclectic and full of old books and trinkets and very cozy with the fire going and the old 70's lava lamp on or a candle. The couch on the veranda is great to sit on and watch the sunset and listen to the rivers of wind and the myriad birdlife. We only have Netflix available on the TV and the cottage is old but clean and comfortable. Guest access Guests will be able to access fields next to cottage for a walk and we have a table and chair next to a campfire under the big Pine tree. Great place to spot Deer coming in from the Forests on our boundaries or the resident Eagles that occasionally visit. Other things to note This cottage is located next to the owners property.
