An Artist's Cozy Log Cabin Minutes From Downtown.
Spend the night in a very Private, Cozy, Eclectic and Historically Imfamous Log Cabin, surrounded by an artist couple's one acre garden. Right by Downtown Tulsa! Located in Historic Owen Park Neighborhood. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Tulsa. Very close to The B.O.K. Arena, Tulsa Ball Park, Cain's Ballroom, Tulsa's Arts District, many restaurants, and the Tulsa Gathering Place. This Cozy cabin is perfect for a couple wanting a relaxing weekend and also a wonderful writer's retreat! The cabin was built on my land during prohibition. The owner of my house liked to play poker, but his wife did not like his poker friends! Many a famous bootlegger played poker there! There is a stone fireplace with a wood burning stove inside for cool evenings . There is a fire stick for Amazon on the television. The bed is a double bed. You might hear owls in the trees at night, and the owner's chickens and Welsh Corgis in the distance. In the morning, you will have eggs from our chickens to cook for breakfast, if you like, as well as toast, coffee and tea, etc. There are condiments in the refrigerator and spices on the shelves. Feel free to use whatever you need. The bathroom is a small, simple bathroom with a shower. Just like the way the original air bnbs were, I like to meet my guests when they arrive, so I can show them some of the quirky things about the cabin, and to make sure they can figure everything out in this wonderful space. No management companies are running this cabin! just us! Watch "An Artist’s Cozy Log Cabin" on YouTube https://youtube/7UIF-Cn-FlI feel free to wander around our Gardens, visit the chickens, say hi to cats and dogs Etc Watch "An Artist’s Cozy Log Cabin" on YouTube https://youtube/7UIF-Cn-FlI My husband and I both work from home in our studios. We are far enough away, that we will not disturb you, but are here for you to answer any questions, tell you some wonderful places to go that are very close by, and to make sure your stay is as fabulous as possible Right next to our place there is a monument in the middle of the street, placed there to commemorate where Washington Irving camped out one night, on his Prairie Tour of the West in 1832. The Owen Park neighborhood is very eclectic, with many artists living in the area. no 2 houses are alike. There are bike trails near by, many historic homes, and First Friday Art Crawl is always a great free adventure from around 6-9pm the first Friday of each month in the downtown Tulsa Arts District.
