This getaway is at the top of a mountain, overlooking mountains, trees, wildlife, coffee plants and even the ocean that is far in the distance. A short ride into San Jose, but far enough to relax in the mountains, if you are looking for a peaceful rest, this is the place for you! This house is owned and built by two local women on a family farm. Fall asleep listening to coyotes and wake up to the smell of coffee. Experience a true Costa Rican home. The space A bungalow on a hilltop that was build on a family plot of land. This home is the perfect balance of proximity to San Jose, and mountain relaxation. The house is small but has everything you would need to be comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen, table with chairs, a patio surrounded by beautiful tropical plants, a nice bathroom with hot showers, a beautiful bedroom with a queen bed and large TV. We also have a pull out couch that can sleep two. The best part about our house is that one side of our home opens up a large window to an incredible view of the mountains and trees. Sunsets from our house are some of the best in the area! Guest access Guests can take a walk around the farm. There are large trees, beautiful creek, some coffee plants, a few chickens, many birds, and exotic plants. You can walk to town or ask for a lift into town if you ask in advance. We love to make our guests feel at home. You can have as much or as little privacy as you want. Other things to note The departure time is flexible as long as there is not a confirmed reservation for the same day. If there is a confirmed reservation, the check out time will be 11:00AM. If our guests needs to do some activity or leave luggage at the house, they are welcome to do so. Please communicate in advance.
