Enjoy your stay in Benin in this spacious and secured 2-bedroom condo in Agla. It is a well-located base to explore Benin: 10-15 min from the airport, beach, and Kouhounou stadium. It comes with a private living area, air-conditioner, generator, WiFi, washer, night security guard, concierge, and well-equipped kitchen. Some roads leading to the property are uneven and bumpy and we recommend 4x4 or all-wheel drive during rainy seasons. WE DO NOT COLLECT ANY SECURITY DEPOSIT AT THE PROPERTY. In addition, we have a concierge on the property who speaks French and Fon. Agla is a calm neighborhood that is 15 min from the airport, 10 minutes from the beach, Erevan supermarket, and multisport Kohounou Stadium. The apartment is within 5 min drive from Pharmacie Les Archanges. Multiple roads allow access to the property and the dual gate accommodates most cars, even a Toyota Sienna. The covered internal parking allows parking of 2 to 3 cars, and the front of the property can accommodate up to 3 cars. Remember that Benin does not have a public transportation system so we advise our guests to make transportation plans ahead of their trip to Benin. Below are the available options: 1-Benin Taxi or other: contact them an hour ahead of time (if flying in there are several of them at the airport) 2- Moto-taxi called Zemidjan (the least expensive option but we recommend wearing a helmet and downloading the GOZEM app) 3- Car rental at the airport in the arrival hall or look for other rental services online (please call them way ahead of time) 5- In rainy seasons, we recommend guests use a 4x4 or an all-wheel-drive car because floods are unpredictable; if you have a regular car, there are alternate routes that are less flooded which the concierge will show you upon request. ⚠WE DO NOT COLLECT SECURITY DEPOSIT⚠ **Security** Your security and safety have been at the forefront of the design of the property: High-quality keys and security cameras help secure the perimeter of the apartment. We have a concierge that can help with access to the apartment. Also, unregistered guests will not be allowed on the property (no exception). **Transportation** There are several options for transportation to and from the apartment. Below are some options 1-Benin Taxi: contact them an hour ahead of time (if flying in there are several of them at the airport) 2- Moto-taxi called Zemidjan (the least expensive option) - Download GOZEM app 3- Car rental at the airport in the arrival hall or look for other rental services online (please call in advance) **Electricity** - The apartment comes with its own prepaid electricity meter and guests are responsible for topping up the meter based on their needs. In case of a power outage, we have a generator that has enough fuel to run for 5 hours per month (about 1H26M per week or prorated for a shorter stay). Additional usage is charged to the guest (not to exceed 2H per day). Moreover, due to the noise level, we cannot run the generator at night. 2- Suggestions to keep your electricity cost low: - Open the windows (but keep the mosquito nets closed) - Make sure to turn off the AC, lights, and TV when going out - Only use the air conditioner at night in the bedroom (we run it for a few minutes and then let the ceiling fan take over for the rest of the night) **Cable** The apartment comes with basic cable Canal+ in the living room (most programs are in French) **Internet** Basic internet will be provided but guests are responsible for purchasing additional credit based on their needs (see the concierge for assistance) **Cleaning** For long stays, we offer a once-a-week complimentary cleaning service (towel and bed linen changed, bathroom cleaned) **Noise** There is a shared wall with the neighbor and/or our second apartment so we ask guests to be mindful of the noise level after 11 pm
