Description
A private, serene wilderness setting on 85 acres with 3,000’ shoreline on the most remote automobile accessible area of Lake Vermilion. Be prepared to hear the lapping of waves, the call of the loons and few, if any, people around. Guests also have access to the Lodge, which is a recreational space with sofas, easy chairs, big screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, 2 card/game tables and a fully enclosed, lakeside screen porch. The space Cedar Cabin is one of 4 lakefront cabins, it is the largest and it has been completely renovated with raised ceiling, cathedral windows, new carpet and electric heat. Inside is a kitchen with ample utensils. A range, microwave, full size refrigerator (plus another one in the main Lodge), coffee maker and table settings for 4, etc. Down by the lake is free use of 1 fishing boat with oars, 2-person canoe, kayaks (3 available) and a peddle boat. Bringing your own boat? The boat launch is to the west of the Lodge. Just down the road is Cook, MN and its wonderful gift shops, fishing tackle shops and more. Sleeping arrangement: 1 BR queen bed, 1 BR extra-long twin bunk beds. Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. This cabin is not ADA accessible. The resort also has a gazebo (located high on the bluff, 50 feet above the water), a sauna, a fully-equipped fish cleaning house and a central fire pit (with plenty of wood), which are all available for use by the guests. Cabin rentals also include use of fishing boat with oars (1 available), 2-person canoe (1 available), kayaks (3 available) and peddle boat (all first come - first served). Fishing boat with motor and pontoon boat rentals available. Resort has maintained walking trails throughout the 85 acre setting plus a 2 mile long driveway for longer hikes or jogging. All cabins have a kitchen with ample utensils, a range, microwave, full size refrigerator, coffee maker and table settings, etc. Hard-wired WiFi in each cabin - works great outdoors, too. Other things to note We do allow pets for $22 a day fee + refundable deposit.
