We live on a UTV and snowmobile trail and close to downhill and cross country ski businesses. It's quiet and peaceful. Prepare to get out of the hustle and bustle of life and enter into Gods country. Whether you adventure up here or work as a traveler, we have all the amenities you would need. We want our home to feel like a home away from home. The room is warm and inviting. There is a electric fireplace for heat and a air conditioner for those who need it a bit cool. This room is up a flight of stairs and may be a bit difficult for the elderly because its a narrow staircase with no railing (doesn't meet code). The bathroom is downstairs. If you are in need of a first floor bedroom please book if available Mama Mabie's Master Suite that is listed on Airbnb. Shared space: Downstairs bathroom, Kitchen, living room, dining room laundry and the decks in the summer. I am open to a night of conversation or not. Its your vacation. I have been known to share a meal or two with guests. I do have a dog named Nala. She is very sweet. She spends the nights on the floor of my room so you don't need to worry about her roaming at night. Country setting but close to town. Fields and woods. Very peaceful and reflective. If you are a outdoor enthusiast this will be of interest. I am located 4.5 miles from Hurley Wi and 3 miles from Ironwood Mi. I am close to all downhill ski hills, I live on a snowmobile trail for those who like the fast life in the winter, UTV trail, those who like the woods and the mud, cross country ski trails ABR is about 3 miles from my house across the river which divides Wisconsin from Michigan. There is hiking everywhere, snowshoe trails, bike trails all right outside my door.
