Beautiful stone house with large pool and gardens

L'Abri Tranquille is a beautiful old house with a separate cottage, large pool and spacious grounds. It is unbelievably peaceful here: you will hear some amazing birdsong. You will enjoy wonderful views, a securely fenced 12m x 6m pool, and large gardens which extend into a paddock. You will also find plenty of places to sit and have a coffee or glass of wine, as well as the large decking area next to the barbecue.The perfect holiday location for relaxing and unwinding. The space An ancient old farmhouse with three bedrooms. Two of these share the main bathroom while the third has an ensuite shower room. The house has a large well equipped kitchen and there is a downstairs shower room as well as a back kitchen with washing machine and tumble dryer. The separate cottage is just across the lawn. Its thick stone walls maintain a lovely cool atmosphere in the heat of the summer. The cottage is split into two parts: one has two bedrooms, a small kitchen and bathroom alongside a dining/living area. Adjoining this, but with its own entrance is another large bedroom with private bathroom, There is a large garden with lots of areas to wander around and play. We provide boules, croquet, table tennis and a badminton set. With its spacious grounds and gorgeous pool, secured inside a childproof fence, L'Abri Tranquille offers the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday Guest access You can walk and cycle from the property, but you will need a vehicle to explore the wider area properly. There are numerous places of interest and parking is not normally a problem, apart from on market day, when you might want to start out early. Other things to note There is parking for several cars. The pool is surrounded by a childproof fence but the lawn opens into a paddock which is not enclosed. Some areas of the grounds are left natural so there will be brambles, sharp branches, tree roots etc There are stairs in both houses and the cottage has a mezzanine bedroom which overlooks the dining area WiFi is available. Dogs are welcome but it's appreciated if they do not get on the beds.
