The backside of the yard borders on the Estuary This gives numerous possibilities to use the water (sea, pool, river). The house from 2021 was designed around an almond tree. This is how the name "Palo Seco's Tree-House" came about. The 2200 sqm private lot offers three parking spaces in front of the house, a variety of tropical trees and plants, and wildlife. Relax on the beach, chill by the pool or enjoy the view of the waves from the balcony with a drink. The patio/rancho protects you from the sun and rain. Feel free to grill something tasty underneath to end the day.... The house is fully air-conditioned and each room also has a ceiling fan. The ground floor consists of a open kitchen (including a dishwasher and a large double-door refrigerator with ice dispenser) and a large dining area with Smart TV and soundbar. There is seating for 3 at the breakfast bar. Wi-Fi is located throughout the house. Around the pool you will find loungers and seating. In the backyard is a rancho (covered outdoor seating) with outdoor sink, gas grill, hammock, fan, dining table and six chairs. For the beach, there are plastic chairs, beach mats, beach towels and a beach umbrella. In the small utility room there is a washing machine with dryer (2in1 function) and some cleaning supplies including rags if there is a spill. Bed linen, towels, soap and initial toilet paper are included. The nearest shopping facilities are in Parrita, about 10-15 minutes away by car. We would be happy to welcome you and your children in our house. Please note that the open architecture of the house could bring risks for small children here and there (for example the open stairs, near the tree on the balconies and in the garden the unfenced pool). Since we are "new on the market" with our house, we would be very happy -after your stay of course- for a positive evaluation. :-) Pure Vida* Thomas & Bianca *Pura Vida - the definition: „If you have been to Costa Rica, or if you are planning a Costa Rica vacation, one term you should be familiar with is “Pura Vida” (pronounces poo-rah vee-dah). Simply translated, it means “simple life” or “pure life”, but here in Costa Rica, it is more than just a saying—it is a way of life. Costa Ricans (Ticos) use this term to say hello, to say goodbye, to say everything’s great, to say everything’s cool. However, it is not the words that reflect the true meaning of ¡Pura Vida!. Pura Vida is the way Ticos live. Not surprisingly, Costa Rica has been named one of the happiest countries in the world, mostly because its inhabitants don’t stress about things the way most foreigners do. Ticos have a very relaxed, simple way of looking at life. No worries, no fuss, no stress—pura vida to them means being thankful for what they have and not dwelling on the negative. Although many people love to use the phrase, not many know where the term actually originated. The most common explanation comes from a Mexican movie called ¡Pura vida! that came to Costa Rica 1956 (directed by Gilberto Martínez Solares). In the movie, ‘pura vida’ is the saying used by the main character who remains optimistic, despite unfortunate circumstances that continue to surround him. Although it took a little while to catch on, the phrase pura vida was being used nationwide by 1970. Today, it is an inherent part of the culture. Although many people use the saying ‘pura vida’, until you’ve been to Costa Rica, you will not truly know what pura vida feels like. It’s an emotion, it’s an attitude, it’s happiness, and it’s a way of life. Once you’ve visited, you will understand the true meaning of pura vida.“ Source: vacationescostarica.com Guest access On the property there are parking area for 3 cars right in front of the house Other things to note Minimum age of the tenant: 25 years.
