The space Cosy, neat and fully equipped-- this is a comfortable unit to base yourself. Ground floor apartment with bedroom, ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen, lounge room and European laundry. The block of apartments has a security gate and intercom entrance. Parking is available - free - on the street. Tree-lined and wide street in a great neighbourhood with friendly neighbours. This is certainly not a fancy, modern palace by any means, but it is has been recently renovated and is very comfortable, light-filled and peaceful. It has all you need for a comfortable visit to Melbourne. Located in a family neighbourhood in the tree-lined community of St Kilda West. The location is impressive; walk around the corner to the beach, to lively St Kilda or take a 15 minute tram ride into the heart of the city. Walk a few minutes to beautiful Albert Park. From here you can also get easy access to the roads leading to the Great Ocean Road, Surf Coast or Mornington Peninsula if you’re looking to explore more widely. Cafes and playgrounds are around the corner. Supermarkets are a short walk away. There are two tramlines nearby and I can lend you a Myki card for the trips. You can expect: -Large bedroom with very comfortable queen bed (firm mattress) and built-in robes - Bathroom is an ensuite style off the bedroom (note, you must walk through the bedroom to get to bathroom) -Open plan kitchen and lounge-room - washing machine and clothes rack (or go to the laundromat in Middle Park) - Wifi and smart TV for Netflix etc - Towels and toiletries supplied - Help yourself to tea, coffee, and breakfast Perfect for singles, couples or a small group if you don’t mind sharing the space. Note: If you are booking for more than 2 guests, I can supply a blow up and extra bedding for them to sleep in the lounge-room. Or bring your own bedding. Please inform me in advance. Guest access You will have the whole apartment. The place is equipped with cookware and cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper etc) for your use. You can use the TV (smart TV) and wifi. Books, board games, picnic rug, yoga mat, kettle bells can be used also. Free all-day parking is available on the street. Other things to note When the Grand Prix is on, there will be a great atmosphere around Albert Park. You can hear the cars from my place - fans love it! Street parking may be impacted during this time – but normally parking is not a problem at the front of the home.
