This defines Palm Springs--we invite you to relax! You have your own space, the full backyard, a 16'x32' pool with floats, plus hot tub-just add the cocktail or iced tea. High-ceiling casita apartment attached to a mid-century home assures privacy with its own secured gated entrance. The casita is 330 sq. ft. with mountain views out 8' sliders. It has two FULL beds [push together ;)], plus kitchen with a counter toaster/oven and an air fryer. The bath has a walk-in shower. (City ID #3881). The space A clean, affordable private sleeping space minutes from the airport and two miles from downtown. You have parking, your own AC/heating unit and a washer/dryer available in the garage. The natural temperature 16'x32' pool (4' deep one end/9' at the other) is separate from the hot tub and both have lights for nighttime bathing. The pool is usually warm enough to swim May through October. We will be collecting the mandatory City of Palm Springs TOT (Transient Occupancy Tax) usually billed prior to arriving or cash is fine on the day of arrival. It is 11.5% of the total AirBnb billed amount. This tax does not show as part of your Airbnb total payment. Please read all the House Rules listed. Guest access The backyard is for you to use, but might be shared with the homeowners. We make a valid attempt to give all guests their privacy as we rarely (if ever) use the yard/pool/hot tub while guests are there. So yes, the pool is private from any neighbors or strangers, but we live in the main house and may use the pool while you are gone. The yard is walled and is completely private from the neighbors. Other things to note The TV has a fire stick, so you can enjoy movie stream programming such as Netflix and Prime. There is a BBQ grill on the property too in the event you want to cook at "home". This grill also has a propane burner for one skillet or pot (provided in casita) so you can make eggs, boil pasta/water, heat food, etc. We recently added an air fryer as well. We have a 6-year year old white Standard Poodle, ChiChi ("she-she") and a 11-year old gray cat, Boonie. Registration details 8336
