Churchill Avenue has a regular bus service that operates in and out of the City via the University of Tasmania. Sandy Bay offers many great walking tracks and from the Esmond, you can walk down to Wrest Point Casino and the Royal Hobart Yacht Club or along Sandy Bay Road either into Sandy Bay, the city, through Battery Point to Salamanca Place or, heading south, onto Sandy Bay Road along to Nutgrove beach and Sandy Bay beach.
