Please do not wash dishes by hand, we sanitize all of our dishes in the dishwasher. Washer/Dryer use is not available for guests. There is a laundromat available in the local community. **This room does not have a TV** Guest access The other side of the house is reserved for hosts family and our dogs. Please do not enter the areas outside behind the fence. During your stay Hosts are available for any questions you might have via messaging or while in the shared areas. Other things to note This home has large dogs that might be in the front of the property or inside the house. If you are fearful of dogs, please let your hosts know so that we can keep them away while you are staying with us.**** The location is just west of I95 and the sound of commuters on the highway can be heard when outside of our home. GETTING AROUND - Park your vehicle on the property free of charge. By car - 20 minutes to Patrick Space Force Base, Atlantic Ocean, surf shops, shopping malls, *Melbourne International Airport 20 min away! *Kennedy Space Center/NASA-45 min, *DISNEY/UNIVERSAL -1hr, *VERO BEACH 45 minutes. *BREVARD ZOO-NATIONALLY ACCLAIMED 20 MINUTES. *Many amenities (fishing, biking, golf, etc) close by in Melbourne, Florida. Wonderful five star restaurants and shopping close by. The famous Sebastian fishing inlet 30 min. 5-10 minutes to Wickham park, EGAD, bakeries, cafes, grocery stores, postal service, art, music, yoga, pilates, clothing, gift boutiques, cape canaveral cruise lines (45min), spa’s, salons, and many restaurants in the area. Close to Historic Melbourne , Cocoa beach, 45 minutes to Orlando Airport, Disney, Universal, Downtown Disney & Orlando attractions. HOUSE RULES - NON-SMOKERS only (includes outside on the property) **Should you choose to ignore our non smoking policy, there will be an additional charge of $200 to cover the smoke/chemical odor removal charge from the room** - Please do not bring food/drinks in the bedrooms -Guests may hear the sounds of our 2 Horses, Geese, Turkeys, Roosters, and Ducks from time to time, and our Donkey - "Eeyore" likes to say hi to our guests. The ducks are a joy to watch especially when they swim in the pond near the gazebo. Please ask before feeding the horses and flock. Room to park your boat at the house. 5 min drive to Lake Washington boat ramp and watch the sunset! **we have an artesian well water sprinkler system..if you are concerned about water spots to your vehicle, please park in the open area on the north side of the property** FYI: We have had guests place silverware in the microwave and had to buy a new one. Generally, everyone knows that; however it happened. We have also had to replace our non stick cookware due to guests stirring food with stainless steel forks. That is the main reason we do not allow kitchen use.
