The space Riad zen&zin is nestled in a quiet residential area, yet within minutes of the souks life, Jema El Fna square and monuments and attractions. The Riad has three floors plus the terrace. The ground floor has a small sitting room around the courtyard and a double bedroom with private bath as well as a public toilet. The intermediate floors have the other three bedrooms (one without private bathroom), a storage room and a public WC. The third floor is where you will find the kitchen, living room and a full public bathroom for use of the guests. The terrace has tables and chairs for breakfast and other meals, a shaded lounge and sun loungers. In winter, the central opening (typical of the Moroccan Riads) is covered to protect from rain and cold. The decoration is a concentrate of different Moroccan trades and cultural activities, mix of colors, techniques and materials. Guests should expect a clean, comfortable, simple accommodation and a quiet environment. Breakfast is available at 4 euros per person and is served where the guest wishes. At the entrance to the neighborhood there are grocery stores for immediate needs. On the nearby spice square, there are several small cafes and restaurants and more restaurants are available on Jema El Fna which is a 10 minute walk away. The neighborhood is a good starting point for exploring the souks, visiting Madrasa Ben Youssef, the Museum of Marrakech, Qoubba Almoravid and the Museum of Photography. Other attractions, such as the Dar Si Said Museum, the Bahia Palace and the Badii Palace are also within walking distance. To move to Marrakech, Jema el Fna is the best place to take a taxi or take an urban bus as well as to park your car (several parking spaces nearby). We can organize day trips to nearby places like the Ourika valley, the Ouzoud and Essaouira waterfalls and also the longest in the desert (Zagora or Merzouga).
