Timber Yard Cottage - charming Cotswold cottage

This quaint old cottage is in a picturesque, unspoilt little village surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside. It would make a lovely base for a weekend or longer break. Lots of great walks right on your doorstep and less than half an hour from the dreaming spires of Oxford and the outstanding beauty of the Cotswolds. This is an ideal place to unwind and recharge, but please be aware that the narrow twisting staircase would be very challenging for anyone with mobility issues. The space The cottage has been sensitively renovated so as to retain its innate simplicity and old world charm. There is no garden but there are pretty village views and an outside seating area. The cottage also has a dedicated space for parking with capacity for two cars or a large vehicle. Guest access There are many good walks in the surrounding area and it is an excellent base for a cycling holiday - we have secure parking for bikes. There is a dedicated space for parking with capacity for two cars or a large vehicle. Public transport is quite limited in this area. Although not impossible, it would not be easy to make the most of this area without access to some form of wheeled transportation. Other things to note There is a little honesty shop, (7 am to 7 pm), less than a 100 yards from the cottage, where you can buy farm produce, milk breàd, meat, vegetables, and more.
