A quiet, separate area of a modern private house, decorated and furnished to a very high standard on a quiet lane. The Retreat offers two large double bedrooms with two King-sized beds (one of which can be adapted to two single beds), a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a separate WC & shower room. We have a couple of outdoor areas that we would be happy for you to enjoy. The space The Retreat is a private and separate area of a large, modern house. It has a gated parking area and a private entrance. We are the go-to for short stays in our local area. Whether you are travelling to visit relatives, attend an event or work locally day or night, we can personalise your stay. Here's what our accommodation has to offer: The entrance lobby leads into the hallway with a WC and separate shower room. The kitchen is well-equipped with oak cupboards, granite worktops and an extendable dining table. Please note that we do not have a lounge. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a newly fitted bathroom with a bath, toilet and shower. There is restricted ceiling height upstairs, please see photos. One of the bedrooms can be adapted to provide two small single beds. We can also provide a travel cot and an additional comfy mattress. We can offer outdoor seating areas on the patio or further down the garden, which you will be welcome to use. We offer a generous food basket on arrival, and for stays of three days or more, we add an extra. We have an EV charger which we can make available for an additional small fee. Guest access We are situated on a quiet lane with lovely local walks. We have ample space for private parking. We have a lovely back garden and we would let you know which area is available to enjoy. Other things to note The Retreat is connected to the main house via two internal doors - which are locked throughout your stay with us. The house is generally very quiet - occasionally, our three grown children pass through. The kitchen is ideal for enjoying meals, so please don't take food and drinks up to the bedrooms.
