Our two-bedroom, floor-through apartment is in a prime location, walkable to the train to NYC (30-40 min away) and Hudson Valley towns like Cold Spring. Park your car here, walk to the train or local coffee shops, restaurants, shops, yoga, parks, the supermarket, a farmers market and the scenic Croton Aqueduct Trail with views of the river. It's pet-friendly and perfect for family visits, week or weekend escapes, scouting out the town for prospective moves, and waiting out home renovations. This is a pet-friendly apartment on the ground floor of our two-family home with your own entrance and privacy. We are happy to host your pets too upon approval. We reside on the top floors with our family and two dogs and cat who you might hear, though we try to keep our noise to a minimum after 10 p.m. We provide white noise machines and earplugs if the noise is too disruptive, but if you're a light sleeper this might not be the space for you. You'll have the sole use of our first floor apartment, with access to a washer/dryer in the basement that we do not use. We will not share an entry though we may pass each other on our way to check the mail or if we need to access the basement through the back door which does not go through the apartment. We also have a gym that you can access through the basement, just text us when you’d like to use it, we share it with guests. We are happy to answer any questions before or during your stay, and will either be at home or appoint someone to be available should any issues arise. This is a very quaint, quiet walkable town with a Saturday farmer's market and a stunning library overlooking the Hudson River. We are surrounded by green space, with the Aqueduct Trail behind the house and Untermeyer Garden an easy walk away, as well as Draper Park, perfect for walks and walking your dog. We live up the street from a great coffee shop that serves delicious pastries, breakfast and lunch. We're on the funky side of a pretty suburban town. We're a 7-15 minute walk to the train, and an 8-minute walk into town, where you'll find a grocery store, good restaurants, a wine bar, and boutiques. We have a small backyard for shared use, a trail behind the house to walk, run or bike on and there are many parks nearby for exploring or relaxing.
