The space Dragonfly Retreat is used also for our personal use, our family holiday home. Our disabled son calls it the 'Beach House'. We hope you enjoy your stay, as much as we do. Alot of time and effort has gone into making it fresh, comfortable, clean and affordable for families. Most importantly stay connected: The WiFi network is in guest book with fast broadband. We’re sorry you won’t be able to take your fluffy pussy cats with you. Well behaved dogs are welcome, maximum space for 2-3 dogs. However, dogs are not allowed upstairs and in human beds. Please enjoy the outdoor garden space, do not allow children or pets to destroy plants and trees, no access to greenhouse or shed. Welcome to use BBQ, chimnea, and table & chairs, please tidy and clean bbq after use. Please bring your own coal and logs, and remember fire safety. Guest access We have a black lockbox by the left of front door with a key inside. Just enter the four digit code, and you’re all set. Late check-out 12:00 noon so please have a lay-in. Just remember to empty bins, turn heating off and all lights off. Key lock all windows and both doors, pop the key back in and remember to randomly scrabble numbers. No Smoking policy, except in back garden please use cigarette safety bin on the wall. Other things to note Pakefield beach is dog friendly all year round, just south of South Beach past the sand dune. South beach has wheelchair accessible beach path way. Our neighbours are nice people and have dogs too. They’ve been very helpful when I bought this house. We try to pay them back, asking our guests not to have parties and events and keep noise to a minimum. Here is some additional helpful information: Heating: The boiler is located in 3rd rear bedroom inside the wardrobe. Please turn the dials to adjust the temperature to your liking, however think of the environment & rising heating and electricity costs, switch heating to a minimum and lights off. Kitchen Please help yourself to anything in the kitchen (tea, coffee, salt, herbs, cooking oil, etc.). Feel free to use our cooking ware, utensils, and appliances. Remember to wash all dishes and utensils prior to leaving. Bin bags and cleaning products kept in unit above washer/dryer. Laundry You also have access to the washer and dryer. However, the dryer is awful takes so long and still wet, faster and fresher to put rotary washing line up (3rd solar light down garden, hidden in lawn) or indoor airers. Stairs Are steep and stair gates, maybe an issue for people with mobility issues.
