We purchased this 1905 gem in 2017 and have poured our hearts into rehabbing it, preserving as much of its original vintage personality as possible. It’s a cozy, "unplugged" feeling retreat with modern updates, located right where the river meets the shore. It features a bright, welcoming layout perfect for a small family, a couple, or solo adventurers. The Space: The cottage is designed for togetherness, featuring a large, sunlit kitchen and a generous dining table—perfect for long breakfasts or board game marathons. Sleeping Quarters: To maintain the original historic layout, the two sleeping rooms (one Queen, one Twin) do not have solid doors or closets. Instead, we’ve installed heavy blackout curtains for privacy and a cozy, cabin-like feel.
