Twin Law Cottage is a former barn that has been sympathetically converted for comfortable, modern living. With outdoor space, and wonderful views over surrounding farmland, you can really relax and feel like you've escaped the humdrum of every day life. Cosy-up in front of the log burner after a walk in the Lammermuirs; go for a jaunt to Holy Island; visit some of wonderful local stately homes; or head into Edinburgh for the day. Your options are endless! Come for some TLC at Twin Law Cottage! The space The porch, through which you enter, is a wonderfully light, functional room with hanging space, underfloor heating, washing machine and space for a dog bed underneath a large worktop. Downstairs there is a spacious kitchen-living room with a log burning stove, (limitless supply of kindling and logs), modern kitchen, an expandable dining table and a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - one has a kingsize bed, which can be split into two singles, and the other has two twins. Guest access Twin Law cottage is situated in the middle of rolling farmland, 1/2 a mile outside the village of Westruther (which has a great pub!). There is ample space for car parking. We are close to Lauder, St Boswells and Kelso which, between them and other local towns, offer fabulous eateries, convenient shopping - food and gifts, delicatessens stocking many delicious local supplies and cosy coffee shops. There is an abundance of walks around and about and there are a variety of beaches within an hour's drive. Edinburgh is less than 30 miles away and offers everything you can imagine from a capital city.
