Walking distance to the Gulf of Mexico, this second story apartment is just minutes from downtown Tarpon Springs and the world famous Sponge docks. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, LED TV and private bath. The second bedroom includes a queen size Select Comfort adjustable bed and LED TV. There is a second full bathroom in the hallway. The living room couch pulls out to a queen size bed for additional guests. Whole apartment WiFi included. The space This apartment was constructed as a mother-in-law suite. It is 1800 square feet with vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan that makes the space feel huge. Mike and Jill did all of the finish work on this apartment. Their love for hand made wood is evident throughout. From the oak parquet floors to the hand made oak kitchen cabinets are all part of the warm wood feeling. They tried to use recycled materials where practical as you will see in the fence material salvaged after hurricane Irma incorporated into the master bedroom furniture and the decorative wall. Tarpon has many scheduled events to offer vacationers. Enjoy the free concert on the beach the first Thursday each month. The first Friday of each month join the downtown street festival with live music, food and beverages available for purchase. If your looking for July 4th fireworks look no further. The annual display is launched from Sunset Beach, all you have to do is walk out the front door to enjoy the display. If you are vacationing in early January you don't want to miss the Orthodox celebration of the baptism of Jesus Christ held at Spring Bayou. After spending time in Tarpon Springs you will see why Mike and Jill had to return to their home town.
