Old clay half-timbered house in the Vorharz, renovated with love. Quiet, in the middle of nature, no immediate neighbors. Real country life with charm instead of hotel perfection. Dogs are very welcome! The space I gutted the vacation home during the coronavirus pandemic, rebuilt it, and exposed the old structure made of timber and clay. Heating is provided with wood (fireplaces) if needed; starting in the fall, the heating can optionally be supplemented with two split air conditioners – in summer, these can also be used for cooling if desired. There is internet, and Sonos speakers provide the entertainment you like. You can play darts and basketball if the sauna is cold for once. Shopping facilities are 5 km away, and a parking space for a motorhome (up to 8 m) is possible on request. So you know what you can look forward to: an old clay half-timbered house comes to life. Sometimes a little clay crumbles from the walls, there is a cobweb in a corner, and in the roof truss, a bee sometimes buzzes or a dormouse makes itself comfortable (we have already had all of these as guests). This is part of a house of this type and is part of its character – nevertheless, we do our best every day to make you feel completely comfortable and help in every situation. If you are looking for pure nature and authenticity, this is the place to be. Those who expect impeccable hotel standards may be happier elsewhere.
