Description

Delightful old converted detached barn located within the lovely Seaton Valley Nature Reserve. Its a 15 minute level walk through the nature reserve past the lily ponds and sensory garden to Seaton beach. There is a small paddock behind the stables, which is available to guests. We accept a pet by arrangement. There are many lovely beaches in the area and Seaton beach itself is a sandy beach with rock pools at the western end. Please note we are now only doing 28 day blocks because of our age. The space The property lies in a sheltered position in the wooded valley of the River Seaton, only a short walk from Seaton Beach and adjacent to the beautiful riverside pathways of Seaton Valley nature reserve. Various footpaths and bridleways and the South West Coast Path and Duchy woodland, all provide boundless leisure opportunities. Seaton, together with its neighbour of Downderry, provide a wide range of facilities including pubs, shops, beach cafe, restaurant, and doctors' surgery. There is a regular bus service and a main line railway station can be accessed at St Germans (Plymouth to London Paddington 3 hours). The A38 provides a quick link to the rest of Cornwall, Plymouth City Centre and beyond. The historic harbourside town of Looe lies about five miles to the west and provides further amenities as does Saltash with a long frontage to the tidal estuary of the River Tamar and a Waitrose supermarket on its northern outskirts. There is a Morrisons and Aldi at Liskeard and a good farm shop and cafe at Tredinnick, a short drive from the barn. Guest access Please note: The field beyond the paddock and to the rear of the barn has river access and for reasons of safety there is no access to visitors. Young children should be supervised at all times when outside. There is also a listed buttery well at the bottom of the drive. It is hidden by foliage and brambles but for peace of mind it would be advisable not to leave young children unsupervised outside the courtyard. Other things to note Saturday to Saturday only. So multiples of 7 days only.
