My partner Mike & I welcome you to take a break in this comfortable and peaceful space, whether it be taking some time out for yourself, a place to call home whilst visiting friends & family or a convenient stay for work. You will have private access to the apartment which is attached to but fully separate from our home. Access your own private toilet & bathroom plus fully equipped kitchen. A great little outdoor space to sit and enjoy your morning tea or coffee! 15 min from Brisbane Airport The space Make yourself comfortable in this cosy home away from home. Listen to the birds while you relax with a cuppa and then enjoy the easy access to all that Brisbane has to offer. With the entire space to call your own including a comfortable queen sized bed, smart TV and a good sized fully equipped kitchen and bathroom you’ll find all that you need for a short or longer term stay. As the apartment is attached to one side of our home with one shared wall you may hear us pottering around now and again. Although there is a shared wall the sound proofing is quite effective with guests advising that they had no issues with any noise. We do have a baby who you may hear the occasional babble from, she is a happy little girl and sleeps well through the night. You may also hear our cute and very friendly Kelpie, Hunter, from time to time and please be reassured she is not a barker :) The outdoor space is a lovely private spot to sit and relax and great for those who choose to stay with their pet as is fully fenced and has a nice amount of shade. Guest access Plenty of free on street parking for easy access to the apartment. As we are a corner block we suggest parking on Ranch street and request guests to not park in front of the house (on Tenbar street as this is where we park our cars). You will be a short walk to a bus stop and a 5 minute drive to the nearest train station (Murrarie) to access Brisbane city. Wynnum foreshore can also be accessed via the train or an easy 15 min drive where you’ll find a further array of restaurants, cafes and a stunning walk around the Manly harbour. The weekend markets at Manly are also worth a visit, the Manly Farmers Markets are held on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month and the Manly Creative Markets held each Sunday. The sunset from Manly Boathouse with a drink in hand is also highly recommended! Other things to note The apartment is conveniently located with a 2 minute walk to IGA, bottle shop, newsagent, post office and hair dresser. With a great dog park and parklands just across the road from there. Local restaurants and takeaways include Thai, Greek, Indian, sushi and a delicious local bakery! Tingalpa Hotel, which is also a short 5 min walk, will serve you up a hearty pub meal and for a greater variety of restaurants and cafes, Manly & Wynnum won’t let you down!
