Urdin Lake House - Your home away from home!

Welcome to Urdin House! This 150 m2 high-end loft looks out over Zürisee from every window. It has the tallest ceilings creating an open and light-filled space. It is the perfect place to call home while in the Zürich area whether for holidays or work. The apartment is perfectly located between the mountains, lake and the city. Direct train from Zurich HB (15 min) and airport (35 min). Swiss Alps are easily reachable in < 1 hour. Skiing, hiking, biking, climbing, via ferrata, swimming, etc.! The space - Fully equipped kitchen (10 m2). High-end appliances: Bora induction cooktop and Siemens combo ovens/steamer and oven/microwave, and dishwasher. - Nespresso coffee maker; Bodum water cooker. - Dining and Living room area, including Apple TV, Sonos speakers and beamer for a cinematic experience (36m2). - Bedroom 1 with 180cm (King) bed which can be split in two single beds, desk, wardrobe and relaxing area (20m2). - Bedroom 2 with 160cm (Queen) bed, desk, wardrobe and relaxing area (20 m2). - Bedroom 3 with 90cm bed, desk, and wardrobe (12m2). - 2 full bathrooms with walk-in showers, and one also with a large bathtub and washer/dryer (17m2). - Underground parking available in a locked garage with EV charger. Other things to note Enjoy the advantages of the Urdin House: - In winter, enjoy the Swiss alps, multiple ski resorts are 30 minutes by car or 1h by direct train. - In summer, you have direct access to the lake through the hidden gem Rothuus across the street: green "island" area surrounded with trees, a bbq, a slide for the kids, and swimming. SUP can be rented 5 min from the flat on Seebahnstrasse. - If you like to hike, there is a forest with waterfall and kilometers of trails 5 minutes from the house. Local ruins are just up the hill and offer a window of local history. For more challenging paths, the same trains that bring your to the ski resorts also bring you to hundreds of kilometers of trails. - For runners, there is a path around the lake which allows you to run next to the water. - Wine lovers will appreciate the neighborhood. There is a winery and vineyards behind the house. Enjoy Swiss wines made in the "backyard" directly from the producer. Every Monday they offer a free wine tasting. - Climbers are in luck, as the largest climbing hall in Europe is located in Wädenswil (Gaswerk). - Fancy the theater? Ticino theater is a 3 min walk away. All by way of saying there is much to do!
