Cosy, 2 bedroom, Dartmoor cottage. Dog friendly.

Perfect for walkers, the village of Belstone is on the north edge of Dartmoor National Park, yet only 5 minutes from the A30. Sheep and ponies graze freely through the village, and as you walk past the excellent Tors Inn the moor opens up giving access to hiking, biking and horse riding activities. Once you have arrived in Belstone you can leave your car and simply enjoy the walks and outdoor pursuits Dartmoor has to offer. Okehampton with it's range of shops is an easy 10 minute drive away. The space The cottage is ideal for 2 / 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 smaller children. (Although could sleep more if needed). The cottage is quite small but perfectly comfortable and cosy. Downstairs is an open plan living room and kitchen. The fantastic log burner / fireplace being the main feature. The cottage is full of locally taken photos of places of interest. The kitchen is well equipped (oven, electric hob, microwave, coffee machine etc etc). Upstairs is the bathroom (bath and shower). Bedroom 1 has a very comfortable, standard size double bed. Bedroom 2 has a single bed with a pullout bed beneath. (NB - 2 adults in this room is a squeeze) The wi-if is very fast and connected to the smart TV. We have a Bluetooth stereo for music. A large map of Dartmoor is on the wall and there are various other maps and walking guides in the cottage. Please just ask for any advice on local walks or attractions. Other things to note We don’t have a washing machine, however there is a modern ‘pay per wash’ launderette at the Belstone services just 5 minutes away.
