Dine, sleep and relax aboard the 100ft wooden heritage ship converted into a floating Inn - The InnChanter. Retrofitted with the style and class of the 1920's - she has been operating as a unique floating Inn on the west coast for the past 30 years. Normally the InnChanter operates as a bed and breakfast and rents by the room, but you can book the ENTIRE vessel for you to enjoy exclusively for your group, wedding or event. She is floating at anchor in the Ucluelet Inlet. The space The InnChanter is a 100ft wooden heritage vessel converted into a floating Inn. The ship can sleep 12 overnight guests making it the perfect getaway for your group. You are out floating in the middle of the inlet, with no neighbours looking back across the inlet at the town. Aboard the InnChanter there are: - 6 bedrooms total - five staterooms below deck and one above (library room) - - a movie lounge (the snuggery) - two bathrooms - main saloon with a wood burning fireplace - saloon bar - kitchen, fridge, and commercial stove with all cooking utensils - grand dinning room with panoramic views of the water - wrap around outdoor decks on main level - 700 square foot sundeck above. - floating wood burning SAUNA on our dock INCLUDED with your stay is free access to all recreational equipment - kayaks, rowboats, stand-up paddle boards, fishing rods, and crab traps. Guest access GETTING TO THE INNCHANTER: - The InnChanter is floating at anchor an only accessible by water taxi boat (5 minute boat ride from Ucluelet marina) - Your reservation INCLUDES a water taxi pick-up the day of your arrival and drop-off (10am) on the day of your departure. - Pick-ups and Drop-offs are at the town docks in Ucluelet. There is free overnight parking here for your group. - Water Taxi transportation is provided by a 20ft aluminum boat - Additional shuttle rides can be arranged for a $40 fee. Dawn to dusk only. - We also have kayaks and rowboats if you’d like to adventure to town under your own power! (Free). Dawn to dusk only Other things to note MEALS: Catering for your stay can be arranged if needed. We can provide the following homemade meals in the grand dinning room for $85/person/day: - dinner -dessert -coffee/tea spread, - hot breakfast We prepare all our meals using west coast ingredients as much as possible - foraging, catching and collecting your meals with the seasons. You are more than welcome to take over the kitchen and prepare all your own meals if you would prefer. WATER: Being a vessel floating in the middle of the ocean, fresh water is limited. Upon your arrival our reserve tanks will be full (500L) and yours to use at all showers and sinks. If you require more, Josh can transport water from town to refill the tanks for a fee. PARKING: There is free overnight parking for all our guests in the Ucluelet marina parking lot where we pick you up from. Once booked in, we will send over map with some more details. SAFETY For safety concerns, owners Josh or the Innkeeper has their own separate quarters aboard the ship and are here for taxi rides, catering, and safety. After we get you checked-in the ship is yours to enjoy and we can be involved as little or as much as you'd like. PET FEE: We charge pet fee of $50/dog/day. Please let us know beforehand of any dogs coming to the ship. Dogs are NOT allowed on any furniture or beds. ELECTRIC POWER RESTRICTIONS: We generate power via solar panels and therefore are limited when it comes to power. We do have household outlets in the main salon and galley you may use. However, we can not power hair dryers, CPAP machines and any other personal electronic devices needing large power draws. We recommend bringing your own battery packs if you have them to power your devices or do without them during your stay : ) If you require large power draws we can set up some times to run the onboard generator to suit your needs.
