The floors are original planks and creak when walked on. Nails work out of the floor boards from time to time and may not be suitable for bare feet, young or old. The home is structurally sound, including the floors. An extensive restoration has been made with safety in mind and in an effort to maintain the charm and beauty of the old restored floors and wood work, with updates that are not typical for an 18th century home.
