The space Enjoy total solitude in this fully self-contained, standalone one-bedroom cottage. Tucked away from the main house and neighbours, it offers a peaceful, private sanctuary surrounded by beautiful gardens and vibrant birdlife. Modern Amenities: Reverse-cycle A/C, fast Wi-Fi, full laundry (washer & dryer), and a Sony Bravia Smart TV with Netflix. Verandah & Outdoors: Private deck with a Weber BBQ, patio heater for crisp mornings, and an evening fire pit under the stars. All-Weather Parking: Dedicated undercover car park with fully sheltered access so you stay completely dry. Guest access When you arrive, you drive in past the house to the cottage, which is at the rear of the block and away from the street and neighbours. It is very quiet. It’s a short rainforest or street walk or a 1-minute drive to the village, which has a pub, general store, good coffee shops and a nice park. The Millaa Millaa Falls and waterfall circuit is just a short drive out of town. There are multiple automatic security lights on site, and the driveway and unit are well-lit, so getting home after dark is easy. Other things to note From the moment you lay eyes on the plush, king-sized bed, you will know you are somewhere special. Designed as the ultimate couples' retreat, the cottage also features a comfortable living room sofa bed. We love to spoil our guests. Instead of the bare-minimum tea and coffee blocks you find at standard motels, we welcome you with a bottle of wine, fresh treats, and a bountiful breakfast spread. Wake up to the smell of fresh coffee and sizzle up a gourmet breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, and hash browns on your private deck’s Weber BBQ, paired with fresh juice and toast. If the misty Millaa Millaa weather rolls in, embrace the chance to slow down. The cottage is packed with indoor entertainment, from games and books to a complete acrylic painting setup. You can even try your hand at the acoustic guitar with a complimentary lesson from your host.
