The space The flat lies on the 2nd floor of a Victorian building (built in 1899) on a quiet one way street only metres from the beating pulse of Edinburgh, yet offers peacefulness for rest and relaxation. It is cozy, yet bright and spacious, the living room has 2 couches and an intimate dining area. The bedroom is large with a king size bed, there is a fully functional kitchen and a spacious shower area. The flat is full of antique and period touches bring you back to the Edinburgh Victorian era yet with all the modern comforts including a 50inch LCD TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix, Amazon Alexa and Amazon Music. Why not sit back, enjoy the ambient mood lighting, with a little music and finish off your night with a 'guid dram' of single malt or fabulous Scottish gins? The kitchen has a full 4 ring hob /stove top and oven, microwave, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and coffee maker and a well stocked larder including fresh milk and a selection of snacks, soft drinks, teas, coffees and all sorts of condiments. Just perfect if you wish to make your own light breakfast before venturing out for the day. There are numerous shops, and grocery stores within a 2 min walk. The Grassmarket, the centre of Edinburgh's night life can be reached in minutes by turning right at the bottom of our quiet little street. From the Grassmarket venture up the stunning curved Victoria Street and onto the world famous Royal Mile which connects Edinburgh Castle with Holyrood Palace; and all the history of Edinburgh in between. There is so much to see in the beautiful and beguiling city, we 'd be delighted to help you with any recommendations for restaurants and attractions to help you find that special day or meal that becomes the memory of your visit that you will have for years to come. The flat is only a 15 min walk from either Haymarket Station or Waverley Station or only a very short cab / Uber ride. There is long term parking available only 200metres away too.
