Errol Street’s vibrant retail, hospitality and arts precinct is just a short stroll away, and lots of fun to explore, while the CBD is also within walking distance or a quick train or tram trip away. The space Our apartment is located in vibrant North Melbourne, securely situated within the revitalised, landmark circa 1929 Mulcahy’s Hotel building. The interior is fully renovated, so you can enjoy modern living in this family-friendly and light-filled space. The apartment features high ceilings, bespoke cabinetry, and two balconies from which to enjoy a great Melbourne outlook – one terrace offering 180 degree views of the city’s tallest buildings which create a really special backdrop; and from the other balcony you can see local industrial landmarks. The open plan living area is cosy and comfortable. There is a high speed internet service with complimentary WiFi access, while a flat screen TV is available as well. Have nights in, curled up on the comfy couch with a movie on the TV - that’s if you’re not too busy making the most out of all the fabulous nearby restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod-cons including a large fridge, Blanco oven and cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, integrated dishwasher, stone benches and a coffee pod machine. Preparing meals at home is easy and convenient – so you can really live like a local and shop for produce at the Queen Victoria Market, which is just a 5-minute drive from home. Adjacent to the front balcony is the first room appointed with a double bed and large mirrored wardrobes. Climb a ladder to the second room - the turret loft retreat, and have a restful night’s sleep on the queen-sized bed. There is also a study nook below the loft bed – a great location to catch up on work. Please note that the ladder to the loft bed is quite steep with at least 7 rungs. The loft contains enough space for a bed, and is encircled in a brick housing with a pressed metal ceiling. It is important to note that the turret loft retreat is a completely separate space, detached from the main living area by an adjoining private balcony. The bathroom is well-appointed with a shower, toilet and wash basin and features a washing machine so that guests staying more than a couple of days can enjoy the ease of doing washing from the comfort of home. A clothesline is also provided on Balcony 1. Split-system heating and cooling for year round comfort is available to the main living space, as well as a wireless intercom and family amenities - such as a baby monitor, portable cot, a high chair, baby bath and children’s dinnerware (available upon request).
